Ana Cristina N Freitas is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratory of Ion Channel Research (LICR) at the VIB-KU Leuven, Belgium. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a PhD in Biochemistry from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG, Brazil). Her research focuses on the study of molecular targets related to pain signalling and thermosensitivity.
